Yoshiro sighed quietly, not caring about Orion's comment and calling him an idiot. He could feel his eyes slowly becomin foggy as tears began to well up. He buried his face in his knees, his body shaking slightly as he let the tears of the sorrow of a loss of a great friend fall. "I hope it does... I really hope everything gets sorted out..." he said through soft sobs before disappearing without warning, appearing within his office.

A long, lonely night in the office later and daybreak cut across the morning horizon. The sounds of the guards changing outside, the voices rising up from the street down below the balcony. Life was starting to return with the day, and all was swept clean.
Almost everything...
Yoshiro probably wasn't faring any better than he had been, having stayed in his office all night.
A distant voice shouted something incoherent. Too far away to be heard through the wooden doors.
Suddenly, the sound of many running footsteps could be heard outside, all heading in one direction.
This time when the voice called out, it was drowned out by the cacophony of all the other voices around it.
When the doors to Yoshiro's office slammed open suddenly and good ole reliable Victor stood there panting for breath, his voice was finally heard.
"TAICHO!" He shouted way too loudly for the smallish room.
Behind him, it seemed like an army of black-robed shinigami were running by.
"It's an emergency!"

As his doors were once again slammed open, the captain woke, his eyes red and cheeks holding dried tears. As the many shinigami ran by the man, the captain sighed, standing up. He walked straight ahead, with no desk in the way.
He grabbed his zanpaku-to, his eyes half open. "What is it...?"

"Our systems are detecting a drastic increase in reishi output in Northwestern Russia originating from a number of garganta openings!" Vic explained quickly as Yoshiro joined him. As they went into the hallway, a bubble seemed to open up around them.
"Our predictive software is saying that in less than ten minutes, a group of hollows will be crossing over to Earth near Moscow. We're looking at approximately three menos grande, an unknown number of smaller hollows and... well it's not confirmed yet, but we believe that an adjuchas or vasto lorde may be present as well, Captain." He stated ominously.
"The only good news we have is that they're going to appear approximately a hundred miles from any major population center. Which is unusual, but it's a break." He added.

As Vic briefed Yoshiro, the young captain closed his eyes briefly, nearly falling asleep. "Gee, can anything else go wrong today?" he asked with slight sarcasm. If anything else went worse, shit would hit the fan and tear the blades asunder.
"Just..." he yawned slightly, "point me to the Senkaimon so we can finish this..." he said before he mumbled the words for the kidou known as Tenteikurra. He mentally sent a vine of telepathic kidouryoku towards those that were still asleep, alerting them to the situation that he knew of. "So, Vic. If you happen to be killed in this battle or anything, got anything to get off your chest?" he asked casually. He was mainly just wanted to make idle chitchat to get his mind off of the thought that shit could get worse, even if it means God literally hurling his holy shit down upon Yoshiro.

Vic stopped in the hall and looked at Yoshiro.
"Sorry sir, but in the Eleventh, secretaries are a valued commodity. I'm leaving the combat to the rest of you. There are more than enough warriors already." He pointed out, totally serious as Vic tended to be. "I don't plan on dying and leaving the mountains of paperwork to topple over and bury the Seireitei."
The two arrived at the Senkaimon within a few moments and Vic stopped at the door as the portal opened and the shinigami started to pile through.
"However, Captain, if you should happen to die, I will make sure my- I mean, your office is kept clean and that your desk is replaced." He said before turning and walking off.

Yoshiro muttered, rolling his eyes at the man's last comment. He sent a single tendril out towards Sumi, Izouko and Mika. "I love you all... so much." he whispered mentally. He might've not died tonight or anything so drastic, but shit had happened that's practically made him a bad luck magnet.
---
As he entered the senkaimon, arriving in the cold, heartlessly stinging winds of Russia, coupled with winter, he inhaled, shivering slightly. He looked around. It was unusual.. hollow were drawn towards people with reiatsu and that would mean they'd be drawn to somewhere where people lived.. not an empty, desolate place... "Be on your guards! If you encounter the possible Vasto Lorde or Adjuchas, retreat. Immediately! If you encounter the menos, fight. If you appear to be losing, flee or group up with others. Take them down with numbers!" he ordered, stopping midsentence when he instructed about the Adjuchas to yawn. He withdrew his zanpaku-to, immediately releasing his zanpaku-to. The snow that once covered his feet disappeared, brushed aside by fiercer winds that were followed by feathers that soon grouped on his wings, forming lengthy black and white wings. He looked around, sighing. "Maybe Miku's not here..."

A hundred meters behind Yoshiro stood a great forest of leafless trees, spanning almost all the way back to Moscow. Their thin and narrow branches seemed to mesh together into a complex web of wood and snow.
As the native creatures slumbered through the winter, one being stood amidst the camouflage. Boldly staring at the backs of the Eleventh Division while leaning sideways against a tree trunk.
Orion glanced at the powder in his hand - The crushed hollow bait that was luring the hollows to this area - With an unreadable expression. Bringing the hollows here was his idea. But it was ultimately a gamble.
'If you do that, she may not even show up at all.' Kenmei had pointed out earlier.
'If she doesn't, then she really gave up and isn't meant to be here.'
'What if people die?'
Orion reached back into his holster and pulled out the ivory pistol.
'They won't.'
Quickly he slid off his coat and hung it up on a branch beside him. His hair was suddenly tugged by the wind as it was freed form the hood, but the mask held tightly.
Now wearing only his white long-sleeve shirt, Orion had completely disappeared amidst the trees and snow.
High above, the sky began to tear...
=-=
A slash of light ripped across the darkness as the sullen howls and moans became excited roars. Dozens of glowing red eyes suddenly appeared across any number of one, two and three eyed monsters waiting to be let loose.
Sniff, sniff
The smell of desirable reiatsu... Delicious, tasty reiatsu... And lots of of it...
Echoing footsteps started within the garganta as a two legged being began to walk towards the light. A soft hand brushed through the fur of a wolf like hollow, then along the hem of a Menos Grande's robe before stopping.
"Slaughter them."
With a deafening roar, the hollows all charged at once, smashing through the dimensional tears like a torrent of water, and like rain they fell down upon the Shinigami below. Small D ranks, all the way up to Menos Grande.

As the hollows charged through the garganta like a horrific rain, Yoshiro began speaking, quietly. "Hadou no Hachijuuhachi, Hiryuu Gekizokushinten Raihou!" he held his hand outward towards the hollow rain, electricity gathering at his fingertips much like Byakurai.
Almost instantanously, the lightning grew into a large orb that levitated in front of his palm before releasing a large 'cannon blast' of electricity. The lightning soared through the air, tearing through several of the smaller, D-rank hollows, and nearly wiping out a clear path. When the hollows neared the large group, Yoshiro braced his body, closing his eyes briefly. Slowly, the need to sleep was shoved aside by the slow hunger built up over the many years with having Somto being another resident of his mind; a slow hunger for battle.
His eyes opened, his contacts - left at the house - not hiding his hollow-like eyes, or the bloodlust within them. When a smaller hollow ran towards him, claws raised and teeth bared, ready to tear the captain in half, the man swung his sword, the small amount of shadows gathered on the cutting edge of the blade releasing, cutting into the air and through the hollow as the two halves split, missing Yoshiro as they fell to his side. He smiled, the corners of his lips curving.

The attacks from the ground came like anti-air turret fire as hollows burst apart like gory fireworks. The weaker ones were little more than fodder, jumping first and absorbing all the attacks.
Behind them, the sky was suddenly blotted out as half a dozen Menos fell from the sky and landed with an immense crash, shaking the Earth under the Shinigami. With them were at least a dozen smaller - but still quite large - hollows of varying shapes and sizes.
The hollow force immediately charged towards the Shinigami like an oncoming Redcoat Army. Giant demonic wolves, tigers, boogeymen with 7 arms, flying centipedes, and of course, behind them were the lumbering Menos.
Behind the charge, one final Menos crashed to the earth and stood in place, instead of charging. Atop it's shoulder stood a slim and curvy figure dressed in little more than a white thong. A crimson cape was attached to a spiny bone neck piece that also had a white silk sheet attached that only barely covered her ample chest. Her faintly tinted violet-white hair swept down to her knees and her red eyes surveyed the battlefield before her as she gave a small, ruthless smirk before licking her lips hungrily.
"What a delectable meal... And just as I was getting hungry." The Arrancar playfully mused before sitting down on the obedient Menos Grande's shoulder.
