Title: [11th/ ] Rites of Passage Starring: +Rinri+ & NeroMaxim Featuring: Yoshiro Aiko Hitaki & Surprise guest (>_>) Post: The sound of a pen skritching across paper was the only sound that broke the silence of the Eleventh. On days like this, many people were enjoying the day off. Nothing was happening and nothing really entertaining kept them there in the division. So for those that had a mom or dad, they went to visit them. Those with wives or girlfriend, they were with them, either banging their brains out or taking them on a romantic evening. And yet, despite having his own wife, and two kids, the captain was the only one there. Even Ragna was out. "You had to be lazy." Darakushita Tenshi chided. Yoshiro had procrastinated far too much, allowing his work to pile up. A pile as big as.. well.... let's not go there. Giggity."Shut it." Yoshiro barked back as the spirit fell from his blade in a grey mist, sitting in the chair in the corner of the man's office, the chair seen amidst the black and white clothing and wings of Darakushita Teshi. "Ever wonder what Sumi does when you're away? Does she REALLY stay home, or maybe she's a secret whore?" The pencil snapped. Actually, it wasn't really a snapping noise. There was the sound of wood breaking, and the pen was no where to be seen. Neither was Yoshiro's desk. "Shut your fucking mouth." Yoshiro growled. "Alright, alright... no need to get hostile." Darakushita said as he held his hands up, animated sweat rolling down his forehead. Yoshiro was begging there was someone ready to make Darakushita Tenshi a clone.... so Yoshiro had something to beat the everloving shit out of. After about half an hour passed, the captain was on the floor, without a desk, writing off the papers once more.

Outside on the rotunda that housed the Division's offices, everything was as normal as could be expected. Most people had the day off, and the only ones who were left were the stationed guards who kept one of the Seireitei's most secure locations... well... secure.
That all was about to change.
One such guardsman let out a loud yawn and stretched his arms and legs out before leaning back over the wooden railing and peering up into the blue sky above lazily. Normally this would be the part where he complained about the boring shift, but there wasn't anybody to complain to. His partner had run off to get some water from a nearby fountain.
"Nghgnstupidgh Nnghngnassignment..." He grumbled inwardly.
Nearby, something landed on the wooden floor with a near-silent thump, like a soft hand striking a bongo.
The guardsman looked down once more as a shadow descended over him, and then there was only darkness.
His body hit the floor with a dull thud as the form standing over him turned and started towards the nearby door... The Captain's office.
"HEY! You there, stop!" A voice shouted before a cup hit the ground and water splashed around. The first guard's partner drew his sword and charged forwards as the form turned to him.
From within Yoshiro's office, only a second thud could be heard... Then...
CRASH
The huge double doors slammed open violently, smashing against anything that was in the way, including the wall it was attached to as it swung around.
Standing in the door was a sinewy form garbed in black. From the bottom up was a pair of bare feet in Japanese sandals. The skinny ankles led up along a pair of long, lean and soft legs that disappeared under a mid-thigh length black pleated skirt that curved inwards to a black fuku that revealed just enough of a slim and youthful female figure. Long strands of jet black hair could be seen dangling down the girl's back before rising up to reveal a pair of violet eyes glaring down at Yoshiro on the floor.
"TAICHOOOO!!" A surprisingly outspoken, glasses-less sixteen year old Miku Kuroko suddenly boomed into the office before unsheathing a long crimson-hilted, gold laquered katana from an equally crimson saya in her free hand. As she viciously jabbed the tip towards Yoshiro's face with a dangerous look on her face. Behind her, both guards lay unconscious on the ground.
"I challenge you!"

Yoshiro nearly burst out laughing when the door was knocked clear off it's hinges and slammed into the transparent, ghost-like figure of Darakushita Tenshi.
As Miku nearly jabbed her sword into his face, Yoshiro didn't move a single muscle. He looked up at her, still scribbling his signature on the last piece of paper. "Hi, Miku~" he whistled, looking up at her. If he was a true pervert, he could have pointed out that he could see her panties, and possibly embarassing her. But he didn't. Instead, he gently grabbed the tip of the sword, pushing it away and allowing him to stand up. Even now, he was still taller. But she grew. She wasn't the shy nine-year old he knew seven years ago. The, albeit, scary nineyear old. Over the years, he grew to actually enjoy being around her. He used to love reading her books every night, but now, she was old enough to read them herself, and he would be surprised if he ever got a 'can you read this to me, Taichou?'
"So, what's with the challenge?" he asked as Darakushita Tenshi ghosted through the door and Miku, returning to Yoshiro's zanpaku-to that was safely hidden behind his back and at his waist. "I didn't make you mad, did I?" he asked, looking at her.

Miku's still-youthful face looked like it was jammed somewhere between a pout and a genuinely mad look as she kept her sword pointed at him after he pushed it away.
"Don't look down on me, Taicho!" She snapped as she furrowed her brow deeply. Her free hand was clenched tightly at her side like an angry girl would, but to Yoshiro - rather, to anyone who knew how to wield a sword - there was one obvious thing to note.
Her stance was completely wrong in every sense of the word.
She was more or less standing straight up with her legs together pointing her word at him. A breeze might have been able to knock her over considering how off her balance was.
Still though, she held in there, puffing her cheeks in determination.
"You've kept me out of your Division 'for my safety' too long! Ka-nii-kun trusted me, but you don't, so I'm here to show you that I'm strong enough to be in this Division!" She said as a confident smirk took over her facial features.
"I've finally reached my shikai, and now I'm going to use it to flatten you, then I'll take you outside and pants you in front of the whole division for doubting me!" She said before twisting her wrist and bringing her sword up to her face in a traditional fencing salute.
"Return evil for good, Yajuu Dorobou!!" She shouted before extending her hands palm-out towards the floor in a fancy flourish. On the floor of Yoshiro's office appeared a huge ten foot by ten foot circular glyph, glowing in crimson light with seals written in kanji surrounding the outside.
From within erupted a forceful wind, pushing Miku's clothes and hair upwards as she stood near the center. Soon the entire room was shaking as if Godzilla himself were rising from the abyss to conquer the Seireitei.
Mike glared at the floor in utter concentration before finally shouting;
"RISE!"
Her cry suddenly silenced the room and the shaking before a blast of smoke burst from the ground and filled the room.
Everything went quiet for a long moment as the smoke filtered out of the room through the door... What awaited Yoshiro? A horror that Miku had conjured from hell to do battle?
"Aip!"
A bark. A very... small bark... Like a pomeranian or a shit-zu...
In front of Miku where the center of the glyph had been was a little red... dog? It looked like a dog in a way. it had four legs, but it's skin was crimson and it had two tails. A little mane of dark red fur lined the head like a mini lion, and it also had dark red stripes like a tiger.
The two foot high dog looked at Yoshiro and cocked its head to the side curiously as Miku stood behind it holding her katana, mostly unchanged besides the puff of white fur dangling from the end.
She glared at Yoshiro from behind the little animal.
"Prepare to lose, Taicho!"

Yoshiro watched her release her shikai, summoning a cute little itty bitty red demon puppy. But he learned not to understimate cute things. He learned that with Miku and Sumi.
The captain knelt, looking up at Miku. "Alrighty then, you want to be excepted in the division? Earn it then." he said with a light smile before holding his hand up towards the small dog. "Hadou no Yonjuunii, Raiden." with that, a large amoun of lightning gathered in his hand, the air becoming statically charged as he released the powerful kidou.

Miku grinned like a demon as her Captain uttered the words she had hoped. He had literally walked directly into her trap thanks to his pride in his power.
Considering the kidou spell's relatively medium-level number and adding the fact that Yoshiro was very strong in kidou itself, the simple raiden bolt was stronger than a direct hit from most shinigami's shikai. By all rights, it should have ended the battle then and there...
The bolt hit the dog and sent another cloud of dust into the air. Only this time, instead of a still atmosphere and a little yelp, two red glows appeared down near the ground side by side where the dogs eyes should have been...
Then two more on each end...
The glow started to rise upwards in the dust.
Four more glows appeared above the first four...
Still rising...
Finally four more appeared.
RRRRRRRRRRUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH
The ear-splitting roar erupted from the cloud, sending it shooting away from the glowing. The little red dog was gone, replaced by an absolutely massive red beast with twelve glowing red eyes, two rows of razor sharp teeth and claws almost thirty centimeters long.
The entire demon was almost ten feet tall, baring its teeth and growling down at Yoshiro.
From behind it, Miku almost looked excited.
"Earn it? Are you planning to make it this easy for me?" She grinned darkly through the demon's legs at Yoshiro. "You walked right into my trap. Yajuu Dorobou means Beast Thief. He absorbs reiatsu and uses it to transform into more powerful forms. Usually it takes a few more attacks to get to this point, but you helped us along by using a pure-reiatsu attack. And a strong one at that!" She exclaimed before stabbing her sword at Yoshiro again.
"Sic him!"
The beast roared, then charged down, ready to bite Yoshiro's entire torso off.

Yoshiro watched the cute little puppy turn into something that reminded Yoshiro of Roy's old guard spirit dog. Fucker tore a hole into Yoshiro's chest.
At the command, Sic 'im, Yoshiro instantly disappeared as he gripped his sword. Appearing outside of the building with his wakizashi held out, he smiled. How would he do this one? Use Kage Osore to instill Miku's worst fear into her mind and horrify her out of her shikai, or just slash at the creature until it lost it's head?
Or, you know, attack the weilder?
"Shut up." Yoshiro cursed at Darakushita's interjection as he held his sword downward. "Come on boy, got a nice treat for you."
'Fall from Grace....'
His sword's metallic blade began to waver as he held the blade-like feathers inside. He'd wait for the right second to release, waiting for the beast to defend Miku instead of unleashing his transformation without some barricade to absorb most of the attack-transformation. "Miku, come on! I bet that things not even house trained! Show me what you got!"

Miku watched Yoshiro disappear, then reappear further off outside on the balcony. He was obviously trying to get them out into the open, but Miku wasn't about to let him goad her into a mistake that easily.
The smartest girl this side of the Kidoushuu towers whistled sharply once, then charged forward as Yujuu...
Sat down?
The beast lay down in the office as it's handler ran past it, past the remains of the desk, and out the balcony door and out into the air.
"Don't take me lightly!!" She shouted at her Captain as she leapt off the railing with her sword primed for the swing at Yoshiro. She made it within a few feet before disappearing and reappearing behind him in a speedy shunpo.
Did Yoshiro forget how fast she was?

Yoshiro's eyes widened as she ordered Yujuu to sit, charging forward. He couldn't help it..... he had too much Reiatsu built within his sword to hold back. The reiatsu exploded, feathers running about in a fierce tornado, tearing at the cute teenager, his body folding as wings began to sprout from his shoulderblades.
As his wings breached the sphere of feathers, the feathers instantly clung to the flesh, forming beautiful black and white wings. He kept his eyes on Yujuu, making sure she wouldn't prepare some sort of sneak attack. She was smart, fast, tough and even a little cute. If he wasn't married and was actually a few years younger, he'd think of asking her out.
Focus, dumbass.
"Shut up."
He looked briefly towards Miku. He held his sword downward, shadows snaking through the air towards his sword before he swung like a demon, bringing a large wave of shadows to follow, screaming through the air with intent to bifurcate the woman.

Miku's eyes glinted for less than a fraction of second. Just long enough for Yoshiro to commit to his attack, and no more. Timing was key, and if she didn't act exactly right, she was going to be in a world of hurt.
As should have been expected, Miku disappeared from in front of Yoshiro and reappeared behind him with her katana held high and ready to strike like a scorpions tail.
"Return!" She shouted suddenly. Her voice was almost like a blast of thunder through the air. A booming and powerful air seemed to resonate from her small lungs...
At least, that was the illusion that was made as Yajuu Dorobou opened it's mouth and fired Yoshiro's Raiden spell at him, effectively pincering him in a lightning fast attack.
